The Extech SDL470 is an ultraviolet light meter supplied with two probes: one UVA probe for capturing long-wave 365nm UV irradiance measurements under a UVA (black light) source and one UVC probe for capturing shot-wave 254nm UV irradiance measurements under a UVC light source.
This meter is ideal for a wide variety of light measurement applications including monitoring blue light radiation from welding equipent, UV sterilisation, graphic arts, photochemical matching, UV EPROM erasure, photo-resist exposure, ink curing, adhesives and coatings.
A datalogging light meter, the SDL470 is perfectly suited for logging how light measurements change over a period of time. It's supplied as standard with an SD card for storage and can store data at an adjustable rate from 1 to 3600 seconds. All data is saved directly onto MS Excel format, making transferring, storing and analysis on the PC as easy as possible.
Extech's SDL470 also includes several additional features including the ability to measure temperature using a type K/J thermocouple (sold separately), a large backlit LCD display, MIN/MAX readings and a data hold function which temporarily stores the current value on the screen.
