Precise results, even in the smallest spaces - this is the Extech SDL350, a high accuracy, reliable hot-wire style anemometer with a telescopic extendable probe.

With the SDL350 anemometer in your kit, straining to reach a duct is a thing of the past. The SDL350's probe is fully extendable up to a length of 7.05ft (2.15m) and is attached to the meter via a flexible cable, making it easy to reach wherever you need to test. The probe is extra thin for small openings.

Extech's SDL350 can be used to calculate a wide variety of different parameters. It can measure air velocity in metres per second, feet per minute, miles per hour, knots and kilometres per hour; it calculates CFM (feet³/min) and CMM (metre³/min) and it also can calculate air temperature or surface temperatures (optional type K or J thermocouple probes required for surface temperature measurements).

There's even more to the SDL350 - this anemometer is also a datalogger! Supplied as standard with an SD card, you can configure the rate at which the SDL350 logs data from 1 to 3600 seconds, store up to 20 million records on the SD card and transfer it all to PC directly into an Excel file for ease of use. Ideal for applications where you need to measure parameters over a period of time.

Additional features of the SDL350 include a MIN/MAX mode which calculates the minimum and maximum values taken over a period of time, data hold function which temporarily stores current value on the screen and automatic power off (which can be disabled as needed).
