Measure, capture and view your measurement data with ease when testing with the Extech SDL310.
A datalogging anemometer, this device enables the user to capture each and every testing record taken, saving you time by making sure you don't have to constantly write everything down. It uses an SD card (included) which allows the device to store up to 20M readings and can also be removed to port the data over to PC. All records are date/time stamped for easy referencing and saved directly into an Excel format file, meaning data can be used with an existing Microsoft Office package rather than external software.
This thermo-anemometer is designed as a comprehensive solution for measuring the overall velocity of air and also temperature levels. It can measure air velocity in multiple measurement ranges: 0.4 to 25m/s, 80 to 4930ft/min, 0.9 to 55.9MPH, 0.8 to 48.6knots and 1.4 to 90.0km/h and uses a flexible vane anemometer equipped to the main tester's body via a cable in order to carry out measurements.
When measuring temperature, the SDL310 can either measure the temperature of air using the vane from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) or alternatively users can equip a type K or type J thermocouple to the unit for direct contact measurements of temperature. The type K measurement range of the SDL310 is -148 to 2372°F (-100 to 1300°C), while the type J range is -148 to 2192°F (-100 to 1200°C).
Additional functions of this meter include the ability to adjust the data sampling rate as is necessary between 1 to 3600 seconds. It's also possible to calculate MIN/MAX readings and the SDL310 also includes a data hold function for temporarily storing the last value taken on screen.
