A comprehensive solution for measuring temperature, the Extech SDL200 is capable of carrying out up to four temperature measurements at the same time and store this information directly onto an SD card for future reference.
It's a tool that's suitable for use either performing standalone single measurements of can alternatively be used to accurately track temperature over a time period by allowing the user to choose between different sampling rate times between a range of 1 to 3600 seconds. If you're needing to look at the overall efficiency of a system or need to carry out any other types of continuous temperature measurement the SDL200 is certainly a great tool for the job.
This unit also includes the ability to connect up to 6 different thermocouples (J, K, E, T, R and S) and can also be used to connect to PT100 RTD probes to carry out 2-channel RTD temperature datalogging. When probes are connected up to this thermometer the device will relay testing information through its LCD screen which can display T1, T2, T3, T4 or differential T1-T2 readings.
The built-in memory of this unit allows it to store up to 99 individual testing records. It also ships as standard with a 2GB SD card which can be used to expand the overall memory of the unit to 20 million records (this card also allows the device to download to PC).
In addition to the features listed so far the Extech SDL200 also includes offset adjustment, real time data and time stamping, MIN/MAX and data hold functions.
