The Extech SD700 is designed for mounting in a location and constantly monitors barometric pressure, temperature and relative humidity at a sampling rate defined by the user.
The three measurements that this datalogger can perform are shown at the same time in large digits on the front of the device. Since this is a datalogger, the information is already automatically captured, time stamped and stored onto the included SD card which can hold thousands of readings. Both of these functions make the SD700 ideal as a monitoring tool, as it is easy to tell at a glance what the current conditions are like or alternatively interact further with the data on PC (all records are stored in Excel format for ease of use).
In terms of measurements, the SD700 can measure barometric pressure from 10 to 1100 hPa; 7.5 to 825.0 mmHg; 0.29 to 3248 inHg, temperature from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) and relative humidity from 0 to 90%RH.
The sampling rate of the SD700 can be changed to every 5, 10, 30, 60, 120, 300 or 600 seconds.
