A comprehensive solution for recording up to three temperature measurements at the same time over a time period, the Extech SD200 is a great way of constantly monitoring temperatures in countless applications.
The SD200 works with three type K channels which will accept any standard type K probe in order to carry out measurements. Each port is assigned a channel on the device, and each reading is relayed at the same time through the devices' LCD screen. The device is capable of measuring temperature from -58 to 2372°F (-100 to 1300°C), making it suitable for use in colder environments such as fridges or in areas such as extremely hot industrial environments.
The datalogging technology of this meter enables the user to set a timed sampling rate where the tester will store a record. Available time stamps are every 5, 10, 30, 60, 120, 300 or 600 seconds and an auto function is also included. The SD200 uses a 2GB SD memory card to store data, so countless records can be stored on the tester over an extended time period (this card is included as part of the purchase).
All records taken by the SD200 are also time stamped with the time of the test and the testing date, and this information is stored in Excel format for easy porting to PC for analysis purposes.
