This datalogging unit is made for measuring relative humidity and temperature over a time period.
Capable of measuring temperature from -40 to 158°F (-40 to 70°C) and relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH, this device is ideal for constantly monitoring an area such as a warehouse, storage room, freezer, shipping van or even an office to detect strange instances in humidity and temperature levels.
The actual sampling rate of the RHT20 can be adjusted by the user between 1 second and 24 hours. This makes the unit entirely configurable to your needs and makes it easy to spot trends in the data dependent on the sampling rate specified. User programmable RH and temperature alarms can also be set if spikes/drops are detected in either.
Since this is a datalogger, the unit is able to store a large amount of data. Up to 16000 temperature records and 16000 relative humidity readings can be stored directly on the device and it is possible to send this data to PC via the use of a USB connection and the included software package.
In addition to general evaluation of RH/temp the RHT20 also shows MIN/MAX readings.
