The RF15 can be used to measure the sugar content within fruit juice and industrial fluids to ensure that the correct amount has been inserted into the tested liquid.

Incredibly compact and simple to use, the RF15 works by adding 2 to 3 drops of sucrose solution into the tester. The user then views the sucrose content through an eyepiece against a scale built inside the unit, allowing accurate determination of sucrose content between 0 to 32% brix to be carried out. Accurate measurements are also ensured using the RF15 thanks to automatic temperature compensation (ATC) that assures the effects of temperature will not cause inaccurate measurements to take place.

It is also possible to directly adjust the prism and lens of the RF15 to ensure that the reading taken is as accurate as possible. All measurements are carried out with average accuracy of ±0.2% with resolution of 0.2.
