The RF12 measures the overall brix concentration within lubricants and cutting fluids to ensure correct substance integrity.
A compact, lightweight and extremely easy-to-use refractometer, the RF12 works by inserting just a few drops of solution into the tester. The user can then look through the eyepiece, adjust the prism/lens as necessary and get a reading of brix content from 0 to 18% by reading the scale that's viewable on the inside of the RF12.
All measurements are carried out with high basic accuracy that is further enhanced by automatic temperature compensation (ATC), ensuring that the effects of temperature do not compromise a measurement result.
Extech stock a wide range of different refractometers for different purposes, so be sure to take a look at this comparison chart so you know exactly which model is right for your needs.
