Need to measure moisture content around your home, in properties, caravans and more? Extech's MO55 is made for the task.
The MO55 moisture meter is a combination pin and pinless instrument. This means that it includes sharp pins on the top designed for insertion into a material, but also has a non-invasive scanning mode for use in locating moisture, or for use in areas where you don't want to cause damage to the material.
With the MO55, you'll be able to quickly and easily measure moisture content in multiple types of material, including wall board, sheet rock, cardboard, plaster, concrete, mortar and many different types of wood. It's an excellent tool for a wide variety of projects, including building resoration and similar applications where you can use the MO55 to check for moisture content on floors, tiles and under carpets, as well as walls and ceilings.
When measuring, the MO55 will display a numerical reading as a moisture percentage, sound an audible tone which increases in frequency as moisture content rises and display an icon showing low, normal or high levels of moisture.
Additional features of this moisture meter include a data hold function which freezes the value shown on the screen and a measurement verification mode.
