Extech MO257 Pinless Moisture Meter

The Extech MO257 is a pinless moisture meter which can be used to carry out measurements of moisture within different types of material without the need to actually penetrate the surface and cause damage to the material being tested.

It is able to measure moisture levels across a full spectrum from 0 to 100%, and has resolution of 0.1. The results taken by the MO257 are shown directly on the device's triple LCD display with backlight, and it displays a moisture meter, max reading and minimum reading.

To test, the MO257 uses a large sensory probe which is attached directly into the tester, and this allows measurements of moisture to be carried out from 0.78" (20mm) to 1.6" (40mm) below the surface of the material being tested.

The MO257 also features integrated adjustable alarms which will both emit an audible tone and flash 'RISK' or 'WET' when a threshold is exceeded.
