Extech MA443 True RMS AC Clamp Meter

Measure AC current with this handheld, easy-to-use, 30mm jaw clamp meter from Extech.

The upgraded version of Extech's MA440 clamp meter, the MA443 includes expanded functionality. The main upgrade is true RMS - unlike the MA440, the MA443 will maintain accurate results when testing AC even on irregular waveforms and circuits. It also includes a type K temperature measurement function, built-in torch and has a MAX/MIN mode for measuring the maximum/minimum values taken over a period of time.

Extech's MA443 also doubles up as a fully functional digital multimeter. It can measure AC current to 400A using the jaws, but also includes test leads for measurements of AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, duty cycle, diode and continuity.

This clamp meter also includes a built-in non-contact voltage detector, data hold function and a large, backlit LCD display.

The MA443 is CAT III 600V safety rated.
