Test the surface temperature of everything from circuit boards and electrical panels to HVAC equipment with this easy-to-use mini infrared thermometer from Extech.
A completely non-contact method of measuring temperature, simply use the Extech IR267's built-in laser pointer to line up a measurement and it'll display the detected surface temperature reading. The thermometer has distance to target ratio of 12:1, so should be held approximately 12 inches from your target for a 1 inch measurement spot (this model is better suited for close-up work).
Extech's IR267 has a built-in type K temperature port where you can connect a temperature probe for direct, surface temperature or other temp measurements.
If you work regularly on different surface types, the Extech IR267's adjustable emissivity values ensure that the thermometer is correctly calibrated for the surface you're testing on. For added ease of use, the IR267 will also automatically hold the current value shown on the screen as soon as you release the measurement trigger.
Additional features of this infrared thermometer include programmable high and low alarm alerts with visual and audible indicators, MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF modes and automatic power off.
