Extech CLT600 Advanced Cable Locator & Tracer Kit

The Extech CLT600 Advanced Cable Locator & Tracer Kit is comprised of a cable locator transmitter, cable locator receiver, and a grounding rod/ spike, as well as an array of additional accessories; please see the ‘What’s Included?’ section for further details. This kit can be used to find and follow energised and deenergised electrical power and telecommunication wires and cables in walls, ceilings, and floors, as well as outside underground. It is ideal for building, field troubleshooting, wiring diagnostics, and electrical installation verification applications. Designed to be reliable and easy-to-use, the Extech CLT600 Advanced Cable Locator & Tracer Kit includes useful features such as non-contact voltage detection, a CAT III 450V safety rating, a backlit LCD and work lights, and an ergonomic casing. It can measure AC/DC voltage up to 450V and will verify whether wires are energised.

Additionally, the Extech CLT600 Advanced Cable Locator & Tracer Kit offers manual or automatic signal detection and will indicate the strength of the detected signal audibly and via a bar graph on the LCD display. The Extech CLT600 Advanced Cable Locator & Tracer Kit also includes a Mute mode, allowing the kit to be used in quiet locations.  

Moreover, support for coded signal transmission increases precision and enables identification of individual conductors. The Extech CLT600 Advanced Cable Locator & Tracer Kit can also be used to find breaks in wires and cables and to identify fuses or breakers on panels.
