Extech CG304 Coating Thickness Tester

Designed to automatically recognise the material being measures, the CG204 can be used in a wide variety of applications including measuring automotive paint thickness, quality inspection and monitoring for anodising and galvanising, paint inspections and for use in specific uses such as by machine tool manufacturers, pipeline industries and in the aeronautical industry.

The CG204 uses magnetic induction for ferrous substrates and eddy current measurements when testing non-ferrous substrates. An easy-to-use menu system makes the tester easy to configure, and a high quality backlit dot matrix LCD display make it easy to measure results no matter whether you're indoors or outdoors.

This thickness tester is equipped with datalogging capabilities; it can store up to 2500 readings in 50 groups, with 50 readings in each group. It's also Bluetooth-enabled and can wirelessly transmit measurement data to your PC and used to create reports using the bundled software package.
