Extech's CG204 is designed for quickly evaluating the level of coating currently applied to an application. It's ideally suited for testing the thickness of paint on cars and is suitable for use on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates.
This tester uses magnetic induction for ferrous substrates and eddy current measurement for non-ferrous substrates.
The Extech CG204 has the generous capacity to store up to 400 readings. The coating thickness tester also features user-programmable min/max/average with high/low sounding alarms, and with one or two point calibration. It’s also equipped with a convenient USB interface, along with included software which makes makes analyzing data and downloading it from the CG240 easy.
