The quick and easy way to measure the thickness of a material, Extech's CG104 is designed to automatically recognise ferrous (iron and steel) or non-ferrous (copper, aluminium, zinc, bronze, brass etc) substrates.
This product uses a dual measurement system; when testing ferrous substrates it used magnetic induction and it uses eddy current measurements for testing non-ferrous materials. All measurements are shown on the 180° rerversible LCD display with integrated LED backlight.
Extech's CG104 includes datalogging capabilities and can store up to 255 individual measurements on its internal memory. These results can be easily recalled with the touch of a button and scrolled through using navigation keys.
Several other functions are also included such as audible high and low alarms, MIN/MAX, and automatic hold.
