This dual function testing device is used for evaluating phase sequence and for the determination of motor rotation.
Extremely small in size and ideal for field use, the 480403 determines the rotation of a motor with no contact needed and is an ideal method of ensuring that the motor will not be damaged due to the effects of incorrect wiring configurations.
The device also includes 40 to 600V AC testing range, allowing it to evaluate the status of phase orientation on three phase power sources with frequency range of 2 to 400Hz. To show phase orientation this tester uses LED indicators in clockwise and anti-clockwise fashion, allowing the user to understand if there are any lives phases and in what direction phase rotation is taking place.
To connect to the system the 480403 uses alligator clips attached to test leads which are colour coded for ease of use. The device is also double moulded, making it robust enough to survive in industrial-grade environments.
