Extech 461950 Panel Mount Tachometer

The Extech 461950 is used to gain continuous measurements of RPM in an installation.

When implemented into an existing system the Extech 461950 is a great tool for checking at a glance that mahcinery RPM is within the norm. The device is highly accurate and relies on a microprocessor with quartz crystal accuracy to generate RPM readings with accuracy of 0.05% + 1 digit.

Three different resolution settings are available on this tachometer: 0.1rpm, 1rpm and 10rpm. These also come with their own measurements ranges with 5 to 1000rpm for 0.1rpm resolution, 1000 to 9999rpm for 10rmp resolution and 10000 to 99990rpm for 10rpm resolution.

Uniquely designed, this product can also be used to accurately generate RPM results of one hole gears or disks without the need to utilise special gear installations. The device measures RPM by tracking when a ferrous object (a stud) passes by the sensor* and generates an RPM reading based upon this information.

The information about RPM is relayed through the front of the device which features large, bright LED indicators. This figure will update itself automatically every second.
