The Extech 461895 allows the user to carry out measurements of RPM both via the use of non contact photo technology and also includes the ability to carry out contact RPM measurements.
Each of these measurements is carried out by using the applicable end of the device which features different connectors on each end. The device's LCD screen is also built to rotate as the device does, ensuring you can always see the reading taken clearly. The contact measurement section of this tachometer is capable of accepting wheel and tips for carrying out measurements (these are included as part of the packaging).
All measurements are carried out with high accuracy and it features photo measurement range of 5 to 99999 and contact mode measurements of 0.5 to 20000.
An upgraded version of this model which includes a laser pointer for greater distance non-contact measurements is also available. This model is known as the 461995.
