Determine wind speed and direction with this pocket-sized anemometer from Extech.

The 45168CP can measure wind speed in multiple selectable measurement units. These are ft/min, MPH, m/s, km/, knots and Beaufort Force. It's also capable of measuring temperature, relative humidity, wet bulb and windchill.

Unlike other anemometers on the market, Extech's 45168CP has a built-in compass which will determine and display wind direction. Capable of taking full 360° readings, the compass will show head/cross/tail wind calculations and is ideal for determining where air flows are coming from.

Done with the meter? The 4518CP is designed to snap shut and reduce its size when stored. It extends out to 9" when taking measurements and includes a built-in mini-vane sensor (24mm diameter) at the top of the meter.
