Extech 401025 Foot Candle/Lux Light Meter

The Extech 401025 is capable of measuring both foot candle and lumen readings to help you get an accurate reading of exactly how much light is present within an environment.

Both lumen and foot candle measurements taken by this device are available in three different selectable ranges. The range of Lux measurements is from 0-2000, 0-20000, 0-50000Lux. When testing using foot candle this device allows you to check from 0-200, 0-2000 and 0-5000FC. All measurements taken have resolution or 0.1 FC or 1Lux and all measurements are within 5% accuracy.

For analysis purposes the Extech 401025 also allows users to choose between two different response rates and you can use the results generated by these to spot trends in the levels of light. The two modes available are FAST (response within 1 second) and SLOW (response within two seconds).

The device features an in-built precision photo diode and colour correction filter that is cosine/color corrected to ensure that results gained are highly accurate.
