Extech 401014A Indoor/ Outdoor Temperature Alert

The Extech 401014A Indoor/ Outdoor Temperature Alert can be used to measure and display indoor and outdoor temperatures simultaneously.

This thermometer is capable of measuring indoor temperatures between -10 and 60°C / 14 and 140°F. Using the attached external probe, the Extech 401014A Indoor/ Outdoor Temperature Alert is able to measure outdoor temperatures from -50°C to 70°C / -58°F to 158°F. Both indoor and outdoor measurements are displayed to a resolution of 0.1°C/F and have an accuracy of ±1°C / ±1.8°F.

Readings are viewable via the large, easy-to-read LCD display with a digit size of 25mm (1-inch). This instrument features a built-in stand and is supplied with a mounting bracket, allowing the user to attach the thermometer to a wall. These additional features and accessories ensure that the Extech 401014A Indoor/ Outdoor Temperature Alert is easy-to-read at all times and can be adapted to suit a variety of applications.

Further to this, the minimum and maximum readings detect over the course of a measurement period are automatically saved to the Extech 401014A Indoor/ Outdoor Temperature Alert’s integrated memory.

In addition to measuring external temperatures, it is possible to program the Extech 401014A to include high and low alarms for outdoor readings. If these limits are breached the Extech 401014A Indoor/ Outdoor Temperature Alert will issue an audible warning.

This instrument’s suitability for outdoor applications is improved by the inclusion of a water resistant and splash proof external sensor (as mentioned above). The sensor is connected to a thin, 3m (9.6ft) cable facilitating the Extech 401014A Indoor/ Outdoor Temperature Alert’s ability to conduct remote readings of outdoor temperatures. The thin cable can be passed through windows and doors or may be placed inside refrigerators and freezers or temperature controlled areas/rooms.
