Built for use in AC power evaluation, motor generator installation repair and other applications such as HVAC flame rod testing, the Extech 380976-K allows the user to carry out measurements quickly and easily.

The jaws of this device have a 1.6" (40mm) jaw opening, allowing them to be clamped onto medium-to-larger conductors in order to carry out testing of AC current (with true-RMS) from 10mA up to 1000A. Its also possible to use a special μA current mode as well which can measure from 10nA to 1000μA (ideal for flame-rod testing).

As well as current measurements the 380976-K can also be used to measure1ϕ/3ϕ True Power (kW), Apparent Power (kVA), Reactive Power (kVAR), plus Horsepower (HP), Power Factor, and Phase Angle with Lead/Lag indicator. It also includes a suite of multimeter functions and can be used to measure AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency and type-K temperature.

This clamp meter is CAT III 600V safety rated.
