Highly accurate with high resolution and a wide range of measurement procedures, the 380580 provides users with an effective method of quickly evaluating low resistance levels.
The Extech 380580 comes as standard inside its protective carrying case, ensuring that the meter is protected at all times both during testing and when transporting using the built-in carrying handle. The case is shaped like a conventional briefcase, making storage easy and it also includes a shoulder strap for easy carrying. The case is water-resistant.
This milliohm meter features five measurement ranges of 200mΩ, 2000mΩ, 20Ω, 200Ω and 2000Ω all carried out with basic accuracy of ±(0.5%rdg +2 digits). To make sure tests are accurate the 380580 can indicate whether a test is invalid, ensuring that correct connections are made when testing.
Additional functions of this tester include overvoltage, over-temperature, and auto-holding. It includes a large-size 2000-count LCD built into the unit and also includes four ports for attaching included Kelvin connectors.
The battery-powered 380580 milliohm meter is used to deduce the resistance of thick wires, the condition of contacts, and the length or quality of wires. Although the continuity can be easily checked using a continuity tester, the exact condition of the circuit cannot be assessed without proper measurement.
Extech offers some of the highest accuracy and highest resolution, Milliohm Meters on the market today.
