Simple ThermaPen Design

Using the Thermapen 3 is simple; just fold out the probe and insert the stainless steel tip into whatever you’re testing. The built-in LCD screen will then display the temperature reading between a range of -49.9 to 299.9°C with resolution of 0.1°C (resolution can also be switched to 1°C, if you prefer via a switch in the battery compartment). Thermapen 3 thermometers are powered by 2 x lithium coin cell batteries and have a minimum battery life of 1500 hours. Additionally, they are supplied as standard with a free certificate of calibration from ETI.

ThermaPen Probe

This thermometer’s probe is a reduced tip, fast-response stainless steel probe which has diameter of 3.3mm and length of 115mm. The probe folds back through 180° into the body of the thermometer when not in use, making storing the Thermapen 3 as simple as possible.

Durable, Bacteria-Resistant ThermaPen Casing 

The casing of the Thermapen 3 is splashproof and suitable for being washed by hand. As standard all Thermapen 3 thermometers are coated with ‘Biomaster’ additives which are designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria on the thermometer’s body.
