Larger version of ETI’s needle temperature probe specifically made for use in sous-vide cooking.
This probe is designed to pierce a vacuum-sealed bag used in sous-vide cooking in order to measure core food temperature. To ensure this doesn’t break the seal on the bag, foam/tape should be applied which the probe should be inserted through (sold separately).
The probe has a 120mm tip and can measure temperature from -60 to 90°C. The probe is terminated by a type K thermocouple which is compatible with a wide variety of digital thermometers.
Smaller version with 60mm tip also available.
