Elspec G4500 Portable BlackBox Power Quality Analyzer
The Elspec G4500 ensures that every event is meticulously documented, regardless of its magnitude. In the realm of power, relying on chance is not an option.
The innovative PQZIP compression technology is capable of storing information up to a thousandfold more than conventional file formats. PQZIP facilitates the retention of comprehensive and precise data over long durations. The device persistently logs 4V AC and 5I AC waveform signals at 1,024/256 samples per cycle, respectively, ensuring highly accurate outcomes without the prerequisite of configuring any triggers or thresholds.
Supreme Trend Resolution ensures that RMS, THD, active/reactive power, power factor, unbalance, harmonics, and all other power quality parameters are meticulously logged non-stop for an entire year at ½ cycle resolution. This process is vital for a detailed characterization of the electrical system's dynamics.

- Harmonics Recording - Two FFT engines for harmonics analysis:
- Cycle by Cycle: performs FFT at 1 cycle resolution for extended bandwidth. This engine provides 512 harmonics components at 50/60Hz resolution
- 10/12 Cycles: performs FFT at 10/12 cycles resolution for an extended resolution and a sub-grouping calculation. This engine provides the amplitude and angle of 512 harmonic components at a 5Hz resolution
