Reconditioned Single & Three Phase Meters
Reconditioned single-phase and three-phase electric meters for monitoring purposes only.
About Single & Three Phase Meters
A single-phase power meter is a two-wire AC or altering current power circuit. It changes the supply voltage of the power simultaneously. The three-phase electric meter is used for measuring the power of a three-phase electrical supply.
Residential homes are usually served by a single-phase power supply commonly used when typical loads are lighting or heating, rather than large electric motors. While a three-phase supply accommodates higher loads and is usually used by commercial and industrial facilities.
The upper limit of the voltage can be 230 Volts for a single-phase system and 415 Volts for a three-phase system. For a smooth electricity flow, a single-phase meter mostly requires two separate wires, whereas a three-phase power supply delivers power at a steady, constant rate.
