The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-TC Thermocouple Probe Data Logger can be used to measure, and subsequently log, temperatures via a thermocouple probe.
It is supplied with a type-K thermocouple probe (with a 1.5m cable) which is able to measure temperatures between 0 and +200°C (+32°F and +392°F). The data logging unit itself can register temperatures between -200°C and +1300°C (-328°F and +2372°F) and has a measurement accuracy of ±1.5°C/ ±3°F. However, as indicated above the measurement range of the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-TC Thermocouple Probe Data Logger is determined by the range of the probe with which it is used. It has the following measurement ranges when used with alternative type-K, type-J and type-T thermocouple probes:
Measurements acquired by the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-TC Thermocouple Probe Data Logger are streamed wirelessly to either a local PC or the EasyLog Cloud. Connections to the specified Wi-Fi network and/or the EasyLog Cloud are established during configuration. The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-TC Thermocouple Probe Data Logger is configured using the free EL-WIFI-WIN Software. This software can be used to program high and low alarms during configuration and facilitates the user’s ability to view data on his/her PC.
Once connected to the specified Wi-Fi network, the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-TC Thermocouple Probe Data Logger can be placed anywhere within its range. If this connection should be interrupted the data logger will continue to record data to its internal memory (for a maximum of thirty days at a ten-second sample rate) until a connection to the PC or EasyLog Cloud is re-established.
The EasyLog Cloud can be accessed from any internet-enabled device such as a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. This Cloud facilitates the user’s ability to monitor and manage multiple data loggers as well as view, analyse and graph data (including historical data). For a quick introduction to the EasyLog Cloud, please see the following video.
The EasyLog Cloud is also accessible via the EasyLog Cloud App (available through the App Store and GooglePlay), adding to the versatility, convenience and adaptability of this product.
Further to this, the data logging unit has an IP rating of 44, making it suitable for challenging environments; it can also be attached to a wall or surface using the supplied mounting bracket ensuring that it is able to monitor environments without causing an obstruction or becoming a hazard.
The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-TC Thermocouple Probe Data Logger is an adaptable, reliable wireless temperature monitoring instrument. It is ideal for extended-range temperature monitoring applications.
