The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger is supplied with two external type-K thermocouple probes with 1.5m cables. This enables the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger to measure and record the temperatures of both probes’ immediate surroundings simultaneously.

The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger has the capacity to register temperatures between -200°C / -328°F and +1300°C/ +2372°F. However; the temperatures which it is able to measure are dependent upon the range of the thermocouple probes with which it is used; for example when used with the supplied type-K thermocouple probes, this instrument can measure temperatures between 0°C / +32°F and +200°C / +392°F. The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger is also compatible with other type-K as well as type-J and type-T thermocouple probes. It is capable of measuring temperatures within the following ranges using these probe types:

• Alternative type-K: -200°C/ -328°F to +1300°C/ +2372°F
• Type-J: -200°C/ -328°F to +1190°C/ +2174°F
• Type-T: -200°C/ -328°F to +390°C/ +734°F

Probes are attached to the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger’s industry standard miniature thermocouple connectors. When used with the supplied type-K thermocouple probes the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger has an accuracy of ±1.5°C /±3°F.

Measurements acquired by the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger are streamed wirelessly to a local PC or the EasyLog Cloud. Connections to the specified Wi-Fi network and the EasyLog Cloud are established during configuration. The FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger is configured using the free EL-WIFI-WIN Software (NOT included). This software is used to establish a connection between the data logger and the selected Wi-Fi network as well as specify where the user would like the data to be logged, either to the user’s PC or the EasyLog Cloud.

If the connection between the data logger and either the Wi-Fi network or the EasyLog Cloud is interrupted, the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger will continue to log measurements until it is re-established (for a maximum of thirty days with a sample rate of ten seconds).

Using the aforementioned software it is also possible to program the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger to include high and low alarms. If either the upper or lower limits are breached the FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Logger will alert the user via an alarm indicator.

Measurements saved to the EasyLog Cloud can be accessed from any internet-enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet or PC. It is also possible to access this information via the EasyLog Cloud App (available through GooglePlay or the App Store). Via the EasyLog Cloud or EasyLog Cloud App, the user can manage and monitor multiple FilesThruTheAir EL-WIFI-DTC Dual Thermocouple Probe Data Loggers as well as view, analyse and graph data, including historical data.
