The FilesThruTheAir EL-USB-ACT EasyLog AC and DC Millivolt USB Data Logger can be used to measure millivolts, currents and a number of electrical parameters.

This data logger can be used with compatible AC and DC current clamps to measure and store current readings between 0 and 1000A DC/ 0 and 723A AC. It also features a millivolt measuring mode allowing it read and record AC/DC currents up to 1V DC/ 700mV AC.

This instrument can be set to log readings at sample rates ranging from as frequently as once a second to as sporadically as once every twelve hours. It also features an Energy Monitoring mode which will convert the current and voltage measurements into values for power, energy (using a user-defined voltage value) and cost (using a user-specified energy unit cost).

Measurements and calculated values can be viewed via the FilesThruTheAir EL-USB-ACT EasyLog AC and DC Millivolt USB Data Logger’s high-contrast LCD display. The user is able to cycle between the current, power, energy and cost readings as well as the most recent, maximum and minimum millivolt measurements via a single button.

Alternatively, the user is able to download data by plugging the unit into his/her PC. Once downloaded FilesThruTheAir’s free EasyLog Control Software (NOT included) can be used to graph, print, annotate and export data. This software features a clamp scaling factor and is capable of exporting data into other applications and/or in Excel, PDF and jpeg formats.

In addition to this, the EasyLog Control Software can be used to configure the FilesThruTheAir EL-USB-ACT EasyLog AC and DC Millivolt USB Data Logger. It can be used to assign the instrument a name; specify the measurement mode, logging rate and signal type (AC/DC); enter the supply voltage and the cost per kWh in order to perform energy monitoring. It can also be used to program high and low alarms, the scaling factor, and set the logger to begin recording immediately, with a delayed start or when pushed-to-start.

This software is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7,8 and 10.
