The FilesThruTheAir EL-SMS-2G-VAC Vaccine Temperature Monitor with SMS Alerts has been designed to mimic the internal temperature of a vaccine. As such it includes a thermistor inserted into a glycol bottle, pre-calibrated at 2°C and 8°C, and can be used to monitor the internal temperatures of vaccines, rather than the ambient temperature of the fridge, remotely. It has a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to 140°F).

This instrument can be configured to include high- and low-temperature alarms and will send SMS messages to specified contact numbers when they are triggered. Configuration of the FilesThruTheAir EL-SMS-2G-VAC Vaccine Temperature Monitor can be programmed using the EasyLog SMS App, available through Google Play and the App Store. Via this app, the user can specify up to three contacts to which alarm notification and summary SMS messages may be sent.

This app can also be used to monitor and configure multiple FilesThruTheAir EL-SMS-2G-VAC Vaccine Temperature Monitors and allows the user to view all previous messages received from each of his/her instruments.

Moreover, in order to maintain the condition and functionality of the FilesThruTheAir EL-SMS-2G-VAC Vaccine Temperature Monitor, the EasyLog SMS App can be utilised to specify the frequency with which the user wishes to receive summary SMS messages: monthly, weekly or daily. Each summary SMS contains confirmation that the FilesThruTheAir EL-SMS-2G-VAC Vaccine Temperature Monitor is running effectively and contains the latest minimum, maximum and average temperatures.

PLEASE NOTE that in order to receive SMS messages the EasyLog App is not essential but the FilesThruTheAir EL-SMS-2G-VAC Vaccine Temperature Monitor MUST be fitted with a microSIM (SOLD SEPARATELY) to facilitate its connection to GSM networks.

Finally, the FilesThruTheAir EL-SMS-2G-VAC Vaccine Temperature Monitor is powered by four alkaline AA batteries which are able to provide the monitor with up to one year of power (at 25°C and with daily summary messages).
