The FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-TC Temperature Thermocouple Data Logger is supplied with a type-K thermocouple allowing it to measure and log temperatures between 0 and +200°C/ 32 to 392°F.

It is capable of logging up to 32510 readings and can be set to record values at intervals ranging from once every second to once every twelve hours. Furthermore, the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-TC Temperature Thermocouple Data Logger can be used with a range of other thermocouple probes to expand its temperature range, for instance:

• When used with alternative K-type thermocouples it is capable of measuring temperatures between -200 and +1350°C / -328 and +2462°F
• Type-J: -200 to +1190°C / -328 to +2174°F
• Type-T: -200 to +390°C / -328 to 734°F

The data logger itself has an accuracy of ±1°C / ±2°F.

Measurements recorded by the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-TC Temperature Thermocouple Data Logger can be uploaded to a computer, with the manufacturer’s free 21 CFR Part 11 Software (NOT included) installed, via a USB port. Using this software the operator can graph, print and export data as well as create user permissions and encrypt the data to prevent editing. The operator can also use this program to maintain a full audit trail and add electronic signatures to all activity.

The FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-TC Temperature Thermocouple Data Logger's compatibility with the above 21 CFR Part 11 Software makes it suitable for applications in FDA-regulated industries such as the food- and drug-production sectors.

Further to this, the 21 CFR Part 11 Software can also be used to configure the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-TC Temperature Thermocouple Data Logger. Using this software the operator can set the sample rate and select the desired measurement unit (°C or °F).

In addition to its comprehensive measurement and logging capabilities, versatility, and data-security functions, this instrument has been optimised for longevity. As such it is supplied with ½ AA battery which is able to power the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-TC Temperature Thermocouple Data Logger for up to two years (at 25°C and 1-minute logging rate).
