The FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger can measure and log temperatures between -35°C and +80°C / -31°F and +176°F.

This instrument has a resolution of 0.5°C/ 1°F and a memory capacity for over 16 000 readings. The user is able to configure the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger to log measurements at sample rates ranging from as frequent as every ten seconds to as sporadic as every twelve hours.

Further to this, it is possible to program low and high alarms; when the user-settable alarm limits are breached the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger will indicate this via a red, flashing LED light.

In addition to user-configurable alarms and sample rates, it is possible to program the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger to begin logging immediately or with a delayed start. Alternatively, the temperature logger can be programmed to begin logging when ‘pushed-to-start’.

Via the high-contrast LCD display with a two and a half digit display function, the user can view the current temperature measurement, as well as the minimum and maximum recorded values. He/she need only press a single button to access these stored readings.

Logged data can be transferred to the user’s PC by plugging the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger into his/her PC via the USB port. To access this information it is also necessary for FilesThruTheAir’s free EasyLog 21CFR Software (NOT included) to be installed on the user's PC. This software enables the user to graph, annotate, print, and export recorded data to other applications and/or in an excel, pdf or .jpeg format. In order to comply with 21 CFR Part 11, the logged and exported data is encrypted and fully audit traceable.

The FilesThruTheAir EasyLog 21 CFR Software can also be used to add comments to particular pieces of data and attach a digital signature to reports. Further to this, it can be used to improve and maintain data security through the creation of multiple user accounts with specific permissions.

Additionally, it possible to configure the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger via this software. The user is able to name the logger, as well as select his/her preferred measurement unit (°C or °F). He/she can also use this software to program alarms, set a sample rate and select an immediate-start, delayed-start, or push-to-start setting for commencing data logging.  

The FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger’s compatibility with this software makes it suitable for use as part of a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant system, adding to this instrument’s versatility.

Also expanding this instrument’s scope-for-use is its water and dust resistant housing. When the cap is fitted the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger has an IP rating of 67.

Finally, in addition to its practicality and versatility, this instrument is also designed for longevity. It is supplied with a lithium metal battery which is able to power the FilesThruTheAir EL-21CFR-1-LCD Temperature Data Logger for up to three years.
