DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector with LED Torch

The DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector is suitable for applications in maintenance, plumbing and electrical industries. It is able to detect the presence of AC voltages between 24V and 1000V.

This IP67-rated voltage detector has been drop-tested from 2m and is compliant with the safety rating CAT IV 1000V; it is suitable for everyday use. The DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector also includes a built-in LED torch, enabling it to be used in dark or dim locations.

When the DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector identifies voltage it will issue acoustic (audible alarm) and visual (clear, omnidirectional flashing LED) alarms. The DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector also includes an option for a Vibration alarm, which is particularly useful in loud, industrial environments.

To aid with non-contact voltage detection the DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector includes two detection modes: High Voltage and Low Voltage. The High Voltage detection mode is suitable for identifying voltage in domestic electrical supply and three-phase systems. Alternatively, the Low Voltage mode can be used to detect weak electromagnetic fields and voltages as low as 24V. As such, the Low Voltage mode can be used to check low-voltage motors (<90V), audio systems, arc welding equipment and cables with thick insulation.

In addition to non-contact voltage checks, the DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector can be used for phase detection in sockets. It is also suitable for quick and accurate cable break identification.

Finally, the DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector is equipped with an Auto Power Off function with an electronic switch designed to extend battery life and prevent nuisance buzzing. The DiLog DL108 1000V Non-Contact Voltage Detector is supplied with two 1.5V AAA batteries.
