Crowcon Non-Rechargeable Gasman Single Gas Personal Gas Detector Description

Get an instant alert when gas is detected with Crowcon's Gasman, a small-size personal gas monitor which clips onto your clothing.

Made for the detection of a wide variety of gas types (configured to your needs), the Gasman is ideal for use in a wide variety of different applications ranging from oil/gas plants to chemical plants, steel works, hospitality, confined spaces and waste/water works.

The Gasman is configured as standard with two instantaneous alarm limits which will sound as soon as gas levels rise. The Gasman uses a triple alarm system - you can expect the monitor to flash red/blue LED indicators, emit an audible tone and vibrate as gas level spikes are detected, ensuring you can evacuate from the area as quickly as possible.

Crowcon's Gasman units are made for use in demanding conditions - as well as IECEx and ATEX ratings for use in hazardous environments, the monitor has a tough, overmoulded case to protect against impact and is IP65 rated against dust and water damage.

Gas levels are shown on the screen of the Gasman as a general reading - by combining the Gasman together with an optional RS232 communication set (sold separately), you can access logged gas readings over a period of time and read them back on a PC. Up to 900 hours of data can be stored on the Gasman and you can configure alarms, zero the unit, calibrate the unit and more.

The Crowcon Gasman is designed to be used in potentially hazardous environments where there is a risk of igniting the atmosphere.
