The Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger can be used to monitor temperatures of perishable items such as food samples, vaccines and medications.
This instrument is equipped with a removable, high-accuracy glycol buffer probe and can measure temperatures between -15°C and +80°C to an accuracy of ±0.2°C (+5°F to +176°F to an accuracy of ±0.4°F). The glycol probe provides a buffered response to changes in temperature thereby simulating the thermal lag experienced by the perishable goods stored in the monitored environment. Additionally, this probe can also be used with Comark’s RF312DUALPLUS High Accuracy Wi-FI Data Logger.
Readings acquired by the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger can be sent wirelessly to the user’s PC (Comark’s free PC software is required) or to the Comark Cloud (this is a chargeable service). Data sent to the Comark Cloud can be accessed from a variety of locations. Measurements sent to both the user’s PC and the Comark Cloud can be organised into graphs and tables, as well as exported in various formats. It is also possible to view and export historical data using either of these data storage locations.
Comark’s free PC software is used to set up the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger; during this configuration process, the user is able to specify which location he/she would like data to be transmitted. The operator is also able to specify sample rates, measurement units (°C or °F) and high and low alarm levels. Furthermore, he/she can issue the logger with a name, ensuring that data is easier to organise.
Once initially configured the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger does not need to be reconnected to a PC in order to update its settings. Moreover, during initial configuration, the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Data Logger will establish a connection with the specified/ surrounding Wi-Fi network. Once connected the data logger may be placed anywhere within the Wi-Fi network’s range.
Should this Wi-Fi connection falter the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger will continue to record readings (for a maximum of thirty days at ten-second sample intervals) until a connection with the PC software or Comark Cloud is re-established. The Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger’s Wi-Fi range can be lengthened using OPTIONAL Wi-Fi extenders.
In addition to this, readings may be viewed via the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger’s large, two-line, surround LCD. Via this display the user may also view the minimum and maximum temperature readings, alarm indicators; the remaining battery power, indicated via a segmented battery indicator; the Wi-Fi connection and signal strength.
With regards to its practicality, this instrument is supplied with an internal rechargeable lithium polymer battery, however, it can also be powered using an RF320 USB Power Supply (NOT included), allowing the user to tailor the instrument to the test environment.
Adding to this instrument’s adaptability is the glycol probe’s detachable magnetic base and supplied wall bracket. These accessories facilitate the user’s ability to adjust the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger, ensuring that it is easy to install in a variety of environments.
Finally, the Comark RF312Glycol Diligence Wi-Fi Glycol Simulant Data Logger has an IP rating of 43 and the glycol probe includes an IP rating of 67. It is also IEEE 802.11 b/g/n compliant and supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 encryption and enterprise networks.
