The Comark C48LKIT Legionella Kit can be used to monitor the risk of Legionnaires Disease. This kit can be used to test water towers, as well as water systems in businesses, schools, dental practices and residential homes, etc. It allows the user to monitor temperatures as required by the Health and Safety Commission’s L8 Regulations, enabling him/her to rectify any out-of-range temperatures which may encourage the growth of Legionella bacteria.

This rugged, robust and reliable thermometer can be used in industrial and manufacturing environments. The Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer is waterproof and has an IP rating of 65. It is equipped with a robust polycarbonate case featuring a built-in protective rubber boot.
It also features antimicrobial protection containing BioCote® silver technology which is designed to reduce the presence of microbes such as Ecoli. This protection has been awarded a HACCP International Certification and helps to prevent cross-contamination, thereby making the Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer suitable for food and water monitoring applications. Additionally, the Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer is also NSF certified.
The Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer features a wide temperature range, expanding its scope-for-use. It is able to measure temperatures between -200°C and +1372°C and is equipped with a type-K thermocouple sensor to facilitate accurate and reliable measurements.
Furthermore, the Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer’s 2-pin sub-miniature connector enables the connection of various probes, such as those included in this kit. Again, this improves the versatility of the Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer.
Measurements are indicated via the Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer’s large LCD display; using the simple keypad the operator can freeze the current measurement to the display by pressing the Data Hold button. In addition to this, the Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer features a Min/Max button that allows the user to recall the largest and smallest readings detected over the course of the measurement period. These functions allow the user to view the temperatures most relevant to his/her application.
The Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer also includes an alarm function which will alert the user via the display when temperatures have breached the programmable upper and lower limits. Additionally, this instrument includes a countdown timer and a permanent clock both of which are viewable via the display; these features allow the user to monitor probe-insertion times.
Finally, the Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer includes an Auto Switch-Off function which conserves the instrument's battery power. The Comark C48C Industrial Thermometer is powered by two AA batteries and has a typical battery life of up to approximately 5000 hours.
