Robust and reliable, the Claude Lyons Portavolt Variable Transformer is suitable for use in a range of industries/environments including laboratory, manufacturing, test, and education.
The Claude Lyons Portavolt Variable Transformer provides a continuously variable output from 0% to 115% and prevents waveform distortion as well as harmonic generation. It includes IEC 320 connectors for input and output as well as shrouded 4mm test sockets for external meter connections.
Its practical bench- and wall-mountable design includes a construction carrying handle for easy handling and utilises natural convection to cool the unit. The Claude Lyons Portavolt Variable Transformer is also equipped with a thermal overload cut-out.
