Equipped with four voltage inputs, four current inputs, and an IP67-rated, waterproof, all-terrain case, the Chauvin Arnoux PEL115 Power & Energy Logger is an electricity monitoring tool specifically designed for use on outdoor electricity poles. The PEL115 can be installed without cutting off the mains supply; is self-powered by the phase; and will log multiple electrical parameters over several months, as well as break down energy losses.
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL115 helps you to determine and analyse useful, unbalanced active, harmonic active, non-active, reactive, distorting, and apparent energy. To this end, it offers the following measurements and functions:
Automatic recognition of the connected sensor makes measurements easier and more efficient while the PEL115’s voltage and current ratios equip it with extensive measurement ranges.
All data and calculated results are saved to the PEL115’s removable SD card.
Supplied for free with the PEL115, the PEL Transfer Software facilitates the configuration of the power and energy logger, as well as data analysis and report creation. It enables:
Consequently, Chauvin Arnoux’s PEL Transfer Software provides you with all the precise, relevant data required to make and prioritise effective corrections.
In addition to the PEL Transfer Software, the PEL115 is compatible with Chauvin Arnoux’s Android App, enabling motor diagnostics. Furthermore, via this app, you can view the PEL115’s connection to the electrical network.
Four communication interfaces enable data transfer and real-time monitoring:
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL115 is specifically designed for use on outdoor electricity poles. Nevertheless, it can be used across a range of sectors, including:
It is suitable for the following applications.
Energy Audits | Voluntary (ISO 50001, etc.) or mandatory operation aiming to reduce energy consumption: buildings, housing, infrastructure, equipment, etc. |
Implementation of measurement campaigns focused on energy for comprehensive diagnosis of the electrical installation |
|
Identification of the causes of overconsumption by the equipment or overbilling |
|
Preventative & Predictive Maintenance | Industrial equipment monitoring |
Analysis of consumption due to the air-conditioning, ventilation and heating systems |
|
Sizing of a power factor correction cabinet
Redistribution of the loads on the electrical grid
+ Motor diagnostics: measurement of a motor’s speeds, efficiency and torque without using mechanical sensors |
Rugged and reliable, the Chauvin Arnoux PEL115 Power & Energy Logger is the perfect tool for outdoor energy/electricity monitoring/auditing.
