Chauvin Arnoux PEL113 Power & Energy Logger is an electrical monitoring instrument with three voltage inputs, three current inputs, and a quadruple backlit digital display. It can be used to identify sources of energy loss and optimise energy efficiency. To this end, it enables maintenance teams and/or electrical contractors to record electrical parameters over several months and break down energy losses. The PEL113 is a self-powered (via phase) tool that can be installed without cutting off the mains supply.
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL113 determines and analyses useful, unbalance active, harmonic active, non-active, reactive, distorting, and apparent energy. To this end, it includes the following measurement capabilities and functions:
Voltage and current ratios equip the PEL113 with an extensive measurement range. This instrument will automatically recognise the connected sensor type making measurement easier and more efficient.
Measurements and calculated results are saved to the removable SD card.
The PEL Transfer Software is a configuration, analysis, and reporting software. With this software, users can set up the PEL113; verify connections before commencing testing; and download recorded results to a PC. Once data is imported, the PEL Transfer Software will automatically analyse power measurement campaigns, highlighting energy losses and breaking down energy values. Users can generate energy consumption reports easily and are equipped with all the information required to prioritise corrective actions effectively.
Chauvin Arnoux also offers an Android app that can be used to view the PEL113’s connection to the electrical network and perform motor diagnostics.
PEL Transfer Software, combined with wired and wireless communication interfaces, enables data transfer and real-time monitoring. The Chauvin Arnoux PEL113 supports the following interfaces:
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL113 can be used to optimise energy efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the performance of electrical systems across a variety of industry sectors, including:
The PEL113 is suitable for the following applications.
Energy Audits | Voluntary (ISO 50001, etc.) or mandatory operation aiming to reduce energy consumption: buildings, housing, infrastructure, equipment, etc. |
Implementation of measurement campaigns focused on energy for comprehensive diagnosis of the electrical installation |
|
Identification of the causes of overconsumption by the equipment or overbilling |
|
Preventative & Predictive Maintenance | Industrial equipment monitoring |
Analysis of consumption due to the air-conditioning, ventilation and heating systems |
|
Sizing of a power factor correction cabinet
Redistribution of the loads on the electrical grid
+ Motor diagnostics: measurement of a motor’s speeds, efficiency and torque without using mechanical sensors |
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL113 Power & Energy Logger is a comprehensive electricity monitoring tool that can help businesses save money by optimising and controlling their energy consumption.
