The Chauvin Arnoux MH60 Oscilloscope Clamp can be used to measure AC and DC currents to 100A.
This is made possible by the Chauvin Arnoux MH60 Oscilloscope Clamp’s dual hall effect/ transformer technology. In addition to this, the clamp meter includes a number of functions optimised to improve and maintain its accuracy. For instance, it includes:
- An automatic ‘ZeroDC’ system for compensating for magnetic and electronic drift
- An integrated magnetometer to account for the influence of the clamp’s position in constant fields, such as the earth field
- A switchable low-pass filter
In addition to accuracy, this product has also been optimised for efficiency and to this end may be powered in multiple ways. The Chauvin Arnoux MH60 Oscilloscope Clamp may be connected to an oscilloscope via the 5V µUSB port connection, alternatively, it may be operated using a mains supply or via its internal rechargeable battery. In order to conserve energy and extend its longevity whilst ensuring that the instrument is always ready for use, the Chauvin Arnoux MH60 Oscilloscope Clamp includes an automatic standby function, which may be deactivated.
Adding to the Chauvin Arnoux MH60 Oscilloscope Clamp’s efficiency, as well as its safety, is its 26mm clamping diameter which allows the user to measure currents without opening the circuit.
