The Chauvin Arnoux F203 Clamp Meter with Carrying Case boasts an adapter function which allows you to take a range of non-electronic measurements, including temperatures up to 1,000 degrees C, and light levels. As well as this, the F203 can also measure resistance levels within a current. The digital clamp meter is capable of automatically detecting whether you are measuring an AC or DC current, and will change its setting accordingly, although there is a manual override function for this feature.

The digital clamp-on meter can measure up to 1000 volts in both AC and DC formats, and will beep if continuity is detected. The 6,000-count LCD screen will display a single result after measurements have been taken, although it is possible to manually access minimum and maximum recordings. The screen also has a backlight, meaning it is easily visible, regardless of the lighting or the angle at which you hold it. The meter will also measure in-rush currents.

The F203 weighs just 340g and measures 78 x 222 x 42 millimetres, making it an extremely portable piece of equipment.
