The Chauvin Arnoux CA755 Digital Tester is a multimeter that can be used to measure voltage, resistance and capacitance. It is also capable of performing diode tests and audible continuity tests. This instrument will automatically select which calibre is needed for each measurement and has the following measurement ranges:
- Voltage DC: 3mV to 1000V
- Voltage AC: 100mV to 1000V
- Resistance: 0.3Ω to 30MΩ
- Capacitance: 400pF to 30mF
As a result of the Chauvin Arnoux CA755 Digital Tester’s extensive measurement capabilities, it can be used for a wide variety of applications, including:

The Chauvin Arnoux CA755 Digital Tester can automatically detect whether a voltage is AC or DC and will alert the user if it detects hazardous voltage levels. Adding to the safety of this product is its non-contact voltage detection, double insulation and protection against electric shocks. In voltage mode this product is protected against electric shocks up to 6kV; when in continuity, resistance and capacitance testing modes the Chauvin Arnoux CA755 Digital Tester is protected against electric shocks up to 1000 V.
The ‘SMART’ function, which allows the multimeter to determine as to whether a voltage is AC or DC, also allows the instrument to recognise resistors, diodes and capacitors.
The measurements taken using this instrument are indicated on its 3000-count, backlit display with function, calibre and battery level indications. This display adds to the ergonomic design of the instrument. Improving the practicality of the Chauvin Arnoux CA755 Digital Tester is its lightweight and easy-to-handle design. Its removable and replaceable test probes can be stored in the integrated compartment.
In addition to being easy-to-use, the Chauvin Arnoux CA755 Digital Tester is also suitable for use across a variety of rugged environments as a result of its IP54, dust resistant and impact resistant (from a 2m drop) casing.
