As indicated above, the Chauvin Arnoux CA6536 Specialist Megohmmeter features a backlit, dual, digital display. This display includes a logarithmic bar graph. The actual test voltage, the test current and the measurement value are all indicated on the secondary display.
Adding to this product’s practicality is its 600V CAT IV, IP54/ IK04 casing which ensures that it is suitable for use in rugged environments. Furthermore, its lightweight, compact design and operating system ensure that it is easy-to-use, even when wearing safety gloves.
Finally, in addition to the above safety and ingress protection standards, the Chauvin Arnoux CA6536 Specialist Megohmmeter is also compliant with the IEC 61557 standard for continuity tests (200mA) and insulation tests (up to 2GΩ). In addition to this, the continuity test is equipped with an active fuseless protection for when a voltage is present.
