Furthermore, the Chauvin Arnoux CA6532 Telecommunications Megohmmeter includes functions which facilitate its ability to measure resistance, capacitance and leakage current as well as AC voltage.
Furthermore, this instrument’s continuity test function (compliant with the IEC 61557standard) is equipped with an active fuseless protection for when a voltage is present. Its insulation measurement test is also compliant with the IEC 61557 standard up to 2GΩ.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6532 Telecommunications Megohmmeter features a double digital display with a logarithmic bar graph. The secondary display allows the user to view the actual test voltage, test current and timer value as well as the measured value. The double display is backlit, ensuring that the Chauvin Arnoux CA6532 Telecommunications Megohmmeter is suitable for use in dark environments.
Adding to this product’s practicality is its 600V CAT IV and IP54/ IK04 casing, making it suitable for use in a variety of rugged environments. It is lightweight and compact with a user-interface that is easy to operate even when wearing safety gloves. In addition to this, it is equipped with a magnetic stand enabling the user to fix the tester on a metal surface for hands-free operation.
The results acquired using this instrument may be stored in its internal memory. It is able to accommodate up to 1300 readings which may be communicated to compatible instruments via its Bluetooth connectivity. Alternatively, the user may utilise the supplied Megohmmeter Transfer (MEG) Software to transfer the measurements to his/her PC where they may be viewed according to measurement type. This software can also be utilised to activate tests remotely, allowing the user to view the results on a real-time graphical display.
In addition to this, the Chauvin Arnoux CA6532 Telecommunications Megohmmeter is compatible with Chauvin Arnoux’s DataView® Software (NOT included), which allows the user to create customised measurement reports including the site location and operator details.
