Chauvin Arnoux CA6292 200A Microohmmeter

The CA6292 is a micro-ohmmeter with an adjustable test current up to 200A and offers a high accuracy for low resistance values with a 0.1 μΩ resolution and accuracy of approximately 1% for measurement.

The CA6292 is suitable for range applications, including:

• Contact resistance tests on MV/HV cells
• Verification of contact quality on circuit-breakers, switches, relays, etc.
• Resistance testing on busbars, cables, windings, etc.
• Checking of continuity on rails, axles or welds
• Testing of surface condition and metallization
• Cut-off device tests

Chavin Arnoux's CA6292 is built into its own site proof, waterproof case, providing protection and durability in harsh environments. It features a backlit LCD screen which shows readings and test information and an alphanumeric keyboard to input measurement or instrument configurations. The menu system is easy to navigate with the rotary switch which allows you to switch menus or adjust the test current, and function keys for selecting the type of measurement (classic or BSG).

BSG or Both ‘Sides Grounded’ provides total safety to the user, and the equipment, the BSG mode maintains earthing on both sides of the object measured to prevent due to inductive phenomena.

With an internal memory of 8,000 measurement results, you can store readings on your tester and then upload them to your PC, using the DataView software you can recover your results, back them up, export them into various file formats and create reports so you can keep a comprehensive catalogue of your results.
