The accuracy of the Chauvin Arnoux CA5003 Multimeter is 1.5% as standard with all of the parameters and tests that can be taken using the device, and offers an average impedance of 20kΩ/V. This analogue multimeter can be used with DC voltage when it is between 100mV and 1000V (8 cal.) with a DC intensity of 50µA to 15A (7 cal.). And one of the best features is how it can also be used with AC voltage between 100V and 1000V (5 cal.) with an intensity of 1.5mA to 15A (5 cal.).
The CA5003 will also help to save you an incredible amount of time as it has an automatic calibration function that will activate at the touch of a button. An LED volt test will also flash to show you that voltage is present in the Ω meter mode.
What this analogue multimeter has that several others don’t is the ability to conduct resistance tests extending to 10KΩ and 1MΩ – as well as being able to conduct an audible continuity test when R measures less than 50Ω. A fuse LED has also been fitted and there is a dB scale for use with AC voltages.
The CA5003 weighs just about 500g as well as having dimensions of 160 x 105 x 56 millimetres. To make sure that you are also protected when you use the Chauvin Arnoux CA5003 Multimeter, the device has a safety rating of IEC 1010-1 600V and CAT III and IP53.
