Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 Earth & Ground Resistance Tester – 2 Pole & 3 Pole
The Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 Earth & Ground Resistance Tester is a rugged and waterproof tester designed for safely conducting two-pole and three-pole earth measurements up to 50kΩ in high-resistivity terrain. The Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 Earth & Ground Resistance Tester can measure resistance as low as 0.5Ω using the three-pole method, and 0.05Ω using the two-pole method. It is also capable of taking RH stake resistance measurements, voltage measurements up to 600V, as well as line (phase) and leakage current readings between 0.5mA and 60A using the G72 Clamp (NOT included).
The Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 Earth & Ground Resistance Tester automatically stabilises the result and features cable compensation. It also includes One-Shot and Permanent measurement modes. Readings are visible via the backlit display, as is a NOISE symbol that appears when noise voltages are present. The Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 also features a hazardous voltage LED indicator.
To ensure ease of operation, all the Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 Earth & Ground Resistance Tester’s measurements and functions are accessible via the front panel. Furthermore, text and colour markings help to prevent connection errors, and the Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 Earth & Ground Resistance Tester provides assistance with positioning the stakes (average and 52%/62%/72% deviation).
Finally, the Chauvin Arnoux CA 6424 Earth & Ground Resistance Tester is powered by NiMH rechargeable batteries and includes an Auto Power Off function for conserving battery life. The batteries can be recharged via the mains, a USB socket or vehicle cigarette lighter.
